ARCADIA
þ Leave Stone Valley Ranch and turn left/south on Midwest Boulevard.
þ Pass Peavine Road and Sorghum Mills Road.
þ Turn left/east on 2nd Street, Highway 66, and continue through Arcadia.
JONES
þ Turn right/south on Hiwassee Road and pass Lake Hiwassee.
þ Pass over the Turner Turnpike.
þ Turn left/east on Memorial Road.
þ Turn right/south on North Henney Road.
þ Turn left/east on NE 122nd Street.
þ Turn right/south on Clar-Mar Drive.
þ Continue traveling south until you reach Hogback Road.
þ At Clar-Mar Drive, your should see the plaque that was placed here to celebrate October 25, 1832, the day of the maneuver called Ringing the Wild Horse.
þ Look southeast as the plaque instructs you to see the site of the maneuver.
SPENCER
þ Continue on Hogback Road and cross the North Canadian.
þ When you reach Britton Road, turn right/west. Britton Road will become Spencer Jones Road.
þ Continue on Spencer Jones Road until you reach Douglas where you turn left/south.
þ Continue on Douglas to Spencer. You will see mistletoe in the trees on the right/west of the road.
þ Oklahoma City is a short trip west. All that is happening in 1832 could have been seen by the guardian on the dome of the Capitol.
MIDWEST CITY
þ Continue to 23rd Street and turn right/west.
þ Continue on 23rd Street past Crutchco Creek to Sooner Road and turn left/south.
þ Just beyond 10th Street on Sooner Road you will again cross Crutchco Creek.
þ Continue south on Sooner Road and pass Tinker Air Force Base.
OKLAHOMA CITY
þ Sooner Road will become OK 77H.
þ Turn right/south at NE 134th Street.
MOORE
þ NE 134th Street will become NE 4th Street in Moore.
þ At Bryant Avenue you will cross Little River.
þ Travel north on Broadway in Moore and find the plaque for the nights of the Buffalo Hunt.
þ Go back to 4th Street and enter US I 35 going south.
NORMAN
þ Continue on I 35 to OK 9 and turn left/east.
þ On OK 9 you are in Norman.
þ Take a short trip to the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History. The Museum is on Chautauqua and Timberdell Road.
